St. Patrick's Youth Minstry Program is a youth-driven program where the youth of St. Patrick coordinate and lead each activity under the supervision of the Youth Ministry Director. Youth Ministry (YM) is designed for 9th-12th grade students and young adults under the age of 19 years. YM has also been incorporated into the Confirmation process to help foster and build a faith community with not just confirmation candidates but with the other youth in the parish.
YM activities will be held every other Thursday of the month in the Parish Hall and weekends depending on the activity. Registration is accepted throughout the year and may be done at the Parish Rectory. If you have any questions, call Beverly Pascua at (510)-799-4434.

Every new year of the YM program leaders are chosen to lead the program.
Leaders
need to meet the prequisites. As a leader you need to be able to:
-foster a personal relationship with Christ
-encourage sacramental participation
-increase emphasis on bible use and literacy
-helping youth undertsand basic Catholic beliefs
-help prepare & lead YM sessions
-work with volunteers & students
-service projects and opportunities
-attend YM meeting leader meetings & YM sessions
-help coordinate and lead retreats
